Shipping

We ship plants Monday to Wednesday only, so no parcel sits in a depot over a weekend. Orders placed later in the week go out the following Monday. Each plant is watered two days before it ships, wrapped at the base so the soil stays in the pot, and boxed upright with paper padding.

In very hot or very cold weather we may hold an order for a few days and will tell you if we do. A plant waiting in our greenhouse is safer than one sitting in a freezing van.

When it arrives

Open the box the day it arrives and stand the plant upright in a bright spot out of direct sun. Leave it in its nursery pot for at least two weeks before repotting. A few yellow leaves in the first week are normal after a journey in the dark.

Returns

If a plant arrives broken or badly damaged, send us a photo within 48 hours of delivery through our contact page and we will replace it. Because plants are living things, we cannot accept returns of healthy plants. Unused pots and tools can be returned within 30 days.
